Een passie voor kamperen en al geruime tijd werkzaam als campingmanager. In de afgelopen jaren meerdere mooie accommodaties mogen ontwikkelen bij de Kennemerduincampings.
Ik ben woonachtig in Haarlem en vader van een zoon en dochter. Begonnen als stagiaire en mijzelf mogen ontwikkelen naar campingmanager van camping de Lakens. Ik heb in 2007 aan de wieg gestaan van de eerste safaritenten in Nederland. Samen met Peter begin 2019 in het diepe gesprongen en aan de slag gegaan met de ontwikkeling van een nieuwe tent. Belangrijk voor mij in dit project is om een uniek ontwerp te maken die onze tent een eigentijds karakter geeft. Ik laat u graag kennis maken met onze combinatie van luxe, comfort en de unieke uitstraling.

Al jaren actief binnen de recreatiebranche en altijd op zoek naar innovatie en inspiratie om kamperen en logeren naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Op deze manier heb ik verschillende nieuwe producten mogen realiseren.
Ik ben een trotse vader van twee zoons en al jaren met veel plezier werkzaam als campingmanager bij camping Bakkum. Vanuit deze functie heb ik diverse accommodaties en investeringsprojecten mogen ontwikkelen. Sinds begin 2019 ben ik samen met Djoerd trotse eigenaar van Tent2 en zijn we vol aan de slag gegaan met de ontwikkeling van onze nieuwe tent. Met veel plezier kom ik graag bij u kennis maken om te kijken wat onze tenten voor u kunnen betekenen.

Campsite Manager with a Passion for Camping and Innovation
For me, camping is more than just a form of vacation — it’s a way of life. I’ve worked in the recreation industry for many years with great pleasure, and at the Kennemerduincampings I’ve had the opportunity to develop a range of unique accommodations.
My career began as an intern, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of growing into the role of campsite manager at Camping de Lakens. A particularly special moment came in 2007, when I was involved in introducing the very first safari tents in the Netherlands — an innovation that has permanently changed the camping experience.
In 2019, I began developing the Dune Tent: a project in which I could apply my creativity and experience to create a contemporary design. My key focus was on designing a tent accommodation that combines luxury and comfort with a unique look and feel.
I live in Haarlem and am the father of a son and daughter. With great enthusiasm, I continue to dedicate myself to renewing and improving the camping offering — always with a focus on experience, quality, and hospitality.
